Dear Visitor,
The story is told of a monkey in a certain zoo. People love to watch him act and swing around in his enclosure. One day, unfortunately, the monkey died. The zookeeper, not being able to replace this monkey, chose to clothe a man in a monkey suit. The man did a great job aping the real monkey, doing all the things that real monkey did.
One day, he got a little too enthusiastic and swung into the lion enclosure. As the lion came towards this fake monkey he screamed “I am not a monkey but a man” to which the lion replied “Keep quiet or we will both lose our jobs”! The folly of pretence!
Although we thoroughly enjoyed the 3 ¼ years of pastoral ministry at Trinity Baptist Church we are excited about being back in full-time Evangelism and Conference ministry again. Do pray for a fresh anointing for the task before us.
Two weeks ago it was a joy for Cecil to be a speaker at a Evangelism Conference which was attended by over 80 Pastors in the northern area of Port Elizabeth. What a blessing it was!
May the Lord continue to bless you and keep you under the shadow of His Wing.
