Greetings and a very blessed and prosperous New Year!
In Psalm 31 verse 3 David writes “For You are my rock and my fortress; For Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me.” What an important prayer for all of us to pray as we approach the uncertainties of 2024.
Once again, thank you for your prayers and support during 2023. May the Lord bless and reward you for your faithfulness.
The BIG NEWS is that our ministry at Trinity Baptist Church has finally come to an end as the new Senior Pastor will be arriving this week. What was intended to be a three months term as Interim Pastor turned into 38 months! How thankful we are for that glorious opportunity to serve the Lord in pastoral ministry. Quite a challenge for Cecil, who is primarily an Evangelist, and who had to adjust to the challenge of pastoral work. The Lord graciously blessed it, to His glory. We started with approx. 47 attendees and last Sunday there were 100! Again, thank you for your prayers
Cecil still preaches a message on Facebook every Tuesday at 12.30 SA time, which can be accessed at any time.
We now face the following:
- Guidance from the Lord for our next area and order of service. We believe that there is still work for us to do – “for the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable” (Romans 11:29) and “He who called you is faithful, who will also do it.” (1 Thessalonians 24)
- Rebuilding our financial base as we seek to equip ourselves for whatever the Lord has in store.
May you be filled with renewal, revival and harvest reaping to His glory.
