Dear ,
I recently read about a university student who tore up his degree certificate and sent it back to the university with the words “You taught me how to make a living but you did not teach me how to live.”
In Philippians 1:21 the apostle Paul writes “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Christ is needed both in this life as well as in eternity. Challenging stuff but the alternative is much, much worse.
Living for Christ is an individual challenge; it is a personal responsibility. We must remember that it is a daily challenge. However, we do not walk alone for He is with us every mile of the way. Hebrews 13:5.
It is with this reality and fact that we, as born-again believers, do not live as the world lives but it is an alternative lifestyle, i.e. to live for Him through the empowering of His Holy Spirit.
Each week we continue to minister at Trinity Baptist Church as well as deliver a ‘Message of Hope’ every Tuesday on Facebook, where it can be found @LivingMinistriesInt. I am so grateful for these opportunities to serve Him.
Please continue to pray for this ministry that we will always find ourselves in God’s perfect will.
May God richly bless and keep you under the shadow of His wings. Psalm 91 and Jude 24.
With much love
Cecil & Jeanette
