Dear ,
Just a few weeks ago we were rejoicing in Christmas and now we find ourselves celebrating Easter.
These are the two historical events that have had such profound effect on history. Let us remind ourselves that these “religious holidays” belong exclusively to the Church of Jesus Christ, not to the commercial or secular world. Please make sure that you take full advantage of this Easter – bow afresh at the Cross and glory in the Resurrection of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
We are so pleased that we can be in touch with you and rejoice at His wonderful grace.
Three weeks ago, Trinity Baptist Church (where Cecil has been serving as Interim Pastor for two and a half years) called a pastor from Cape Town to fill the role of Senior Pastor. His coming would have meant the end of our ministry at the church. However, for some strange reason he declined the invitation. A great shock to all of us!
So, it appears that we will continue at TBC at least until the end of June, depending on whether the church gets a pastor by then.
Ministry at the church is very challenging, yet we are happy to serve the Lord in this capacity despite the uncertainty and insecurities.
