We rejoice with our American friends as they celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26th.

As we think of the importance of that day, allow me to point you to an article found some time ago (unfortunately I did not find any reference to the author) on the art of Thanksgiving. Please read it carefully.

THANKSGIVING – THE ART

The art of thanksgiving is thanksgiving. It is gratitude in action.
It is thanking God for the gift of life by living triumphantly.
It is thanking God for your talents and abilities by accepting them as obligations to be invested for the common good.
It is thanking God for all that men and women have done for you by doing things for others.
It is thanking God for happiness by striving to make others happy.
It is thanking God for beauty by helping to make the world more beautiful.
It is thanking God for inspiration by trying to be an inspiration to others.

Report back on Jeanette’s Rhizotomy procedure (burning of the nerves in her neck). The procedure went well but the general anaesthetic left her very weak.. She still has a lot of discomfort but the neurologist said that it would take about two weeks for this procedure to take effect. We are trusting the Lord for a miracle. Please keep her in your payers.

If this newsletter has looked a bit strange the last two issues it is because the software program has been drastically updated and we had to ask our service provider to do it for us and they had their own ideas of how it should be done. Jeanette has now had a tutorial on Zoom and, hopefully, will remember what she learnt! We will soon see. Bear with us please.
