Dear ,
Jeanette and I have both had to have cataracts operations on our eyes. Each consecutive Monday we have been going for surgery. Jeanette completed the first two Mondays and last Monday Cecil had his right eye done and this Monday the left eye will be done.
We thank you for your prayers and wishes as this has been a challenging time but we rejoice that so far it has all gone well.
Eyes are such precious and vital parts of our beings, vital for seeing, studying and searching. Scripture makes constant reference to eyes, e.g.
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong
on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9
“Keep me as the apple of your eye.” Psalm 17:8
“The lamp of the body is the eye.” Matthew 6:22
to mention a few verses. So let us keep our eyes on Jesus, “the author and finisher of our faith”. Hebrews 12:2
During the month of September evangelistic outreaches were held at our church. Each department arranged a special event, while the Sunday services had an evangelistic emphasis. There were a number of decisions for Christ reported and we wait to see on-going results.
Your prayers for the ministry at Trinity Baptist Church are constantly need, especially with the attendance restrictions now having been lifted; the ministry of Equipping Evangelists e-bulletin to over 300 Evangelists world-wide; our Facebook ministry (see details below) and the radio ‘Message of Hope’ programme which airs weekly in central Alabama, USA.
Every church or ministry organization is dependent on the prayers and financial support of the Lord’s people and for this we are deeply indebted to you. Thank you so much.
