Dear ,

“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men.”
Luke 2: 14

How true that when God is glorified He gives His peace!

Well, we are rapidly coming to the close of 2020.  What a year it has been; for some a year of waiting (for things to change), for others a year of waste (both financial and time lost), while for all of us a year of wondering when it will all end?

The news in South Africa is that the second wave of Covid-19 has hit us and it appears to be worse than it was the first time around.

But before we worry about 2021 let us take time to focus on the church’s glorious event - Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ, our Saviour:

• When the Word became flesh.
• When the gospel of “good tidings” was announced.
• When the hope for a lost world was born.
• When a new Kingdom came into being that would never pass away.
• When God’s plan was on schedule.
• When a Saviour was born.
• When Salvation, comfort and hope was born.
• When prophecy was fulfilled.
• When a new identity for believers (Christ followers, Christians) was established.
• When a purpose for life was revealed.
• When the “friend that sticketh closer than a brother” arrived.

And so the glorious truths go on and on.

Our prayer for you is that this Christmas will be more meaningful than ever before.

Thank you for your prayers and support throughout the year.  God has truly used you to minister to us.
