Jesus’ Deity and Humanity
‘When we see His Deity it seems incomprehensible that He could be man. When we see His Humanity it seems incomprehensible that He could be God.”
What an amazing combination of the God/Man! He had to be what He was to do what He did. That was the only way that salvation could be purchased for all of mankind.
Let us seek to comprehend and appreciate this glorious reality as we approach Christmas this year. So many fall into the trap of being so caught up with the mad festive season of consumerism that we forget Whose birth we are celebrating.
The escalating Covid-19 infections in Port Elizabeth have made the ministry at Trinity Baptist Church increasingly difficult. This Sunday will be the third time that we have had to close the church doors out of concern for the spread of the virus. Nevertheless the services continue to be broadcast on YouTube each Sunday on Trinity Baptist Church PE. We also broadcast every Tuesday and Friday on Living Ministries Facebook page (LivingMinistriesInt) with a ‘Message of Hope’ radio broadcast aired weekly out of Oxford, Alabama, USA. The responses have been most encouraging.
Your faithful prayers and financial support are so appreciated. God is so good as He mercifully blesses us each day with good health. Our hearts go out to the many who have become victims of this dreadful virus. What a burden this must also be for the families of those who suffer. I think it is time that the entire church of Jesus Christ comes against this virus with fervent prayer, praying in His all-powerful name. “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things. which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV.
