In 2 Timothy 1:12 Paul declares “I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that day.”
I am told that whenever a plane flies through a storm there is always the danger that it gets knocked out of alignment and needs to be ‘trimmed’ or ‘balanced’ in flight. It is so true that the storms of life can knock one out of spiritual alignment and we need to be adjusted to get back on track again. Perhaps the storm of Covid-19 has done just that to you. If so, take time to get back into line again. This is an action of the will before it becomes a series of successive steps. The above verse is very helpful in this process.
Thank you, again, for your faithful prayers and support. We continue to find ways to be of service for the Master. Cecil has been asked to preach at Trinity Baptist Church in Port Elizabeth on September 20th (online) as our Pastor has accepted a call to a church in Germany.
We are grateful for the on-going ministry on Facebook on Fridays and Tuesdays and from this have had responses from the SA, USA and New Zealand.
September in South Africa is the start of Spring and we look forward to the many joys and sights of this season. It is always a reminder of the newness and freshness of life after the barrenness of winter. God, our Creator, is the creator of the seasons of the earth, as well as the seasons in our lives.
