The days come and go so fast that I cannot believe that we have already had 135 days of lockdown here in South Africa.

My challenge has been not to waste this bonus time with Jeanette, the Word, in prayer and finding ways to serve Him. Time is a blessing that we cannot afford to lose or waste. Response has been very encouraging to the Monday and Friday ‘live’ messages on Facebook. I am currently doing a series on ‘Understanding the Will of God’. What an incredible initiative and activity of God!

Here are some of the main points regarding the Will of God, based on Matthew 6:10 “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” :

The Will of God interprets the reason for our being in this world. Philippians 1:21.
The Will of God defines God’s love for us by having a plan for our lives. Romans 8:35-39.
The Will of God involves the choices in life. Philippians 2:13.
The Will of God introduces us to a new lifestyle. Galatians 2:20.
The Will of God has a glorious consummation in mind. Romans 8:29, 31.

It is so essential that we walk in the Will of God, the only safe place in all the world, for “the child of God in the will of God is immortal until his work on earth is done.”

We are grateful to be able to report that we are both well as we use this time to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18.
